Call Us If…
Real situations, not a capabilities list. If one of these sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
- 01New three-phase equipment arrives and needs a supply and disconnect.
- 02A motor hums, overheats or trips — possibly a lost phase.
- 03One leg of a panel is overloaded while the others are light.
- 04A space needs three-phase service it doesn't currently have.
Three-Phase in Toronto Commercial Buildings
Most Toronto commercial buildings are supplied with three-phase power at 120/208V or 347/600V. Three-phase delivers more power on smaller conductors and runs motors smoothly, which is why commercial kitchen equipment, rooftop units, compressors and machinery often require it.

Three-Phase Work We Do
- Three-phase panels and distribution
- Equipment supplies, disconnects and connections
- Motor circuits, contactors and overload protection
- Phase balancing when panels are unevenly loaded
- Lost-phase and rotation troubleshooting
Lost Phase and Imbalance
A three-phase motor that loses one phase can run hot, stall or fail to start. Causes include a failed fuse, a breaker pole, a loose termination or an upstream fault. Unbalanced loading — too many single-phase loads on one leg — causes heat and nuisance trips. Both are diagnosed with measurements under load.

Safety first. If you see smoke or fire, or someone has been shocked, call 911 first. Do not open panels, reset repeatedly tripping breakers or work on live equipment yourself — keep people clear and call us. Urgent? Call 647-835-7757 or see commercial emergency service.
